Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented AI/ML Engineer to join our Legal Tech team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced AI solutions that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and knowledge graphs to build a robust legal knowledge base from historical legal cases, constitutions, and related legal texts. Experience in legal data or a background in law is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy machine learning and NLP models for extracting entities and relationships from unstructured legal documents.

• Build and maintain knowledge graphs from legal corpora, enabling advanced search and reasoning capabilities.

• Fine-tune and integrate LLMs for legal text understanding, summarization, and semantic search.

• Collaborate with legal experts to define ontologies and ensure accuracy in legal knowledge representation.

• Design and implement agentic AI workflows to automate legal research, contract analysis, and compliance monitoring.

• Integrate AI models and knowledge graphs into production systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.

• Stay current with AI/ML advancements, especially in NLP, knowledge graphs, and agentic AI.

• Document processes, models, and findings clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in AI/ML development, with a focus on NLP or knowledge graphs.

• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, HuggingFace Transformers).

• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and large-scale data pipelines.

• Hands-on experience with knowledge graph technologies (e.g., Neo4j, RDF, SPARQL, Cypher).

• Familiarity with deploying ML models via APIs and containerization (RESTful services, Flask/FastAPI, Docker).

• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, and data structures.

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and version control (Git).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Background in law or experience working with legal documents and ontologies.

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.

• Knowledge of agentic AI systems or multi-agent workflows.

• Familiarity with ML Ops tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).

• Experience in legal tech or compliance automation.
